We recognise our responsibility to manage our operations and activities to protect the environment, and we are committed to conducting our business in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner.
Compliance Obligations
· We strive to adhere to all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and other requirements to which we subscribe, including (as applicable) local, regional, national, and international standards.
· We take special care when working in SACs and SPAs to ensure that we comply fully with specific obligations.
· We regularly review and update our compliance obligations to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving obligations.
Pollution Prevention and Resource Conservation
· We implement measures to prevent pollution (including noise pollution) at source.
· We minimise waste generation on our projects through waste reduction strategies such as controlled purchasing and waste segregation.
· We promote the efficient use of energy, water, and other resources throughout our operations, including the use of energy-efficient equipment.
Environmental Objectives and Targets
· We have established environmental objectives and targets which are aligned with our environmental policy.
· We use performance indicators to measure progress towards these objectives and targets.
· We implement corrective actions when objectives and targets are not met, and continually seek opportunities for improvement.
Employee Training and Awareness
· We provide environmental training to all employees, and where applicable contractors, to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities in relation to environmental management.
Emergency Preparedness and Response
· We have developed emergency preparedness plans to address potential environmental incidents related to our activities. We conduct regular drills and training sessions to ensure all employees and contractors are prepared to respond effectively to environmental emergencies.
Continual Improvement
· We commit to the continual improvement of our Environmental Management System using data from stakeholders, audits, inspections, and other sources to identify improvement opportunities.
