Due to new HIQA standards, the hospital required several changes to the existing two storey hospital – which was a protected structure.
8 bedroom were added to the extension.
Complete refurbishment of two 9 bed wards and one 4 bed ward.
New access road to hospital.
Upgrade to all mechanical, electrical, alarm and fire systems.
Provision of new suspended ceilings with insulation, and new wall, floor and ceiling decoration.
New foul connections, soakaway, associated landscaping and site works.
